Use of osteosynthesis titanium microplates in rhinoplasty

Abstract

Even in the most difficult clinical scenario of reconstructive rhinoplasty, a solid fixation of the nasal L-strut is possible. Fixation by using titanium microplates screwed to the facial skull has proved to be stable two years after surgery, providing a good outcome.
