Design and Development of Archives Blender Tool using ADDIE Framework

Abstract

Records are organizational assets in the form of documnet that contain information about activities or events, so that the existence of records is important for the organization. Even though records have an important role for the organization, without a disposal process, records will increase and accumulate from time to time. Uncontrolled addition of records volumes will result in various problems such as space provision and costs. For this reason, disposal activities are needed, one of which can be done through destruction. The purpose of this study was to study the design and development of an effective and safe paper-based records pulping machine. This study uses the Research & Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE framework. The results of this study indicate that the development of the tool started with an analysis of the needs for records destruction equipment, designing the tool design, developing the tool at an early stage, implementing the tool, and evaluating the function of the tool.
