Abstract

The presented research shows the potential of selectins in the diagnosis of many diseases. Scientists conducting research and then publishing them in articles focused in particular on diabetes, cancer, atherosclerosis, and myocardial infarction. In their hypotheses, they assumed that there was a relationship between the concentration of selectins in the organisms of patients and their diseases. In recent years, researchers have published few articles on selectins.
