Abstract

Tyranniphilopterus caiolukasi sp. n., collected from the Yellow-olive Flycatcher (Tolmomyias sulphurescens), is described and illustrated. The new species is compared with T. venezuelensis and T. minutus. The finding of leg segments of feather mites in the guts of some specimens is briefly discussed and illustrated. © 2005 Instituto de Ciências Biológicas - UFMG.
