Abstract

Fall injuries in the elderly have become an important risk to the health and safety of the elderly, directly affecting their physical and mental health. This paper analyzes the existing research literature on the fall injuries in the elderly in China and sums up the existing literature on fall injuries in the elderly in China from five aspects, namely risk factor research, intervention research, awareness survey, research on risk assessment tools and research on detection and alarm system, so as to put up the research and development of technologies related to falls in the elderly.
