Abstract

It is difficult to use a single index to comprehensively and objectively evaluate the frequency regulation performance of energy storage power plants. Therefore, this paper selects regulation speed, regulation precision, response time, frequency regulation mileage, state of charge (SOC), regulation correlation and the failure rate of power conversion system (PCS) to establish an evaluation index system. A comprehensive evaluation method based on correlation analysis and combined weights is proposed. First, the entropy weight method and the coefficient of variation method are used to determine the combined weight, then the weight is adjusted according to the correlation analysis result, and finally the comprehensive score and ranking are obtained combined with the index quantization result. Taking the comprehensive evaluation of actual frequency regulation effect of three energy storage power plants in an area as an example, the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed comprehensive evaluation method of frequency regulation performance of energy storage power plants are verified.
