Analisis Kerentanan Desa di Kecamatan Gondang Kabupaten Bojonegoro terhadap Banjir Bandang

Abstract

Flash floods are natural events that are difficult to deal with due to their rapid occurrence. Flash floods pose a serious threat to the southern region of Bojonegoro Regency. The most frequent occurrences of flash floods take place in the Gondang Sub-district, with at least 2-6 incidents per year. Disaster risk reduction has become a primary focus in disaster management, including reducing vulnerabilities. This study aims to assess the level of vulnerability to flash floods in order to derive adaptive measures based on the level of vulnerability. The data used in this research consist of social, physical, economic, and environmental conditions of villages in the Gondang Sub-district from 2019 to 2021. This research adopts a quantitative descriptive approach. The data were analyzed using a scoring technique based on four vulnerability indicators: social vulnerability, physical vulnerability, economic vulnerability, and environmental vulnerability, which were then aggregated into an index. Based on the research findings, Sambongrejo Village has the highest vulnerability index values, with values for the years 2019 to 2021 being 1.11, 1.15, and 1.12, respectively. On the other hand, Pragelan Village has the lowest vulnerability index values for the years 2019 to 2020, which are 0.68, 0.69, and 0.71. Gondang Village is the most affected with a vulnerability index of 0.95, which is close to the high index category.
