Corrigendum: Naming the unnamed: over 65,000 Candidatus names for unnamed Archaea and Bacteria in the Genome Taxonomy Database (Int J Syst Evol Microbiol 2022;72, 10.1099/ijsem.0.005482)

Abstract

In the published version of the article there was an error in the Python scripts used to generate the protologues presented as supplementary material in the paper, which meant that names for the rank of class were not included. Attached to this corrigendum are three files complementing the supplementary material items 3, 4 and 5 with protologues for newly named classes. Updated scripts and outputs have been uploaded to the relevant GitHub and Zenodo repositories. The authors apologise for any inconvenience caused.
