Abstract

Job satisfaction is a description of how employees feel about their jobs, which is shown in employees' positive attitudes towards work, and employees' negative attitudes towards work. This study aims to determine the effect of professionalism on employee job satisfaction at PT Asian Trails Indonesia travel. This type of research is quantitative research, which is a research methodology that seeks to quantify data and usually applies certain statistical analyses. This research method involved respondents as many as 82 employees of PT Asian Trails Indonesia. The data was collected using a questionnaire, with validity, reliability, simple linear regression, coefficient of determination analysis, and t-test with the help of the SPSS version 26 programme. The results of this study suggest that the professionalism variable is able to influence job satisfaction at PT Asian Trails Indonesia in a positive direction. The implications of this research include the need for direction and evaluation related to work professionalism in accordance with organisational standards, then provide training related to communication so that employees have professionalism in communicating, so that employees will be able to increase job satisfaction at PT Asian Trails Indonesia.
