Abstract
The authors report 5-GHz radio observations of 117 X-ray binary stars and cataclysmic variable stars using the Jodrell Bank Lovell-Mk II broad-band interferometer. Sensitivity was sufficient to detect sources of 2 - 3 mJy (5 σ). In addition to seven objects already known to be radio emitters, seven new radio sources were detected. VLA observations confirmed that two of the new radio sources are coincident with the X-ray positions, one of them probably an extragalactic radio source, and the other a pulsar.
