PERAN GURU PENDIDIKAN PANCASILA DAN KEWARGANEGARAAN DALAM MENUMBUHKAN SIKAP DEMOKRATIS SISWA KELAS X DI ERA DIGITAL

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the role of Pancasila and civics education for teachers in fostering the democratic attitude of class X students in the digital era at SMA Negeri 1 Salang. The research subjects were school principals, deputy head of curriculum, civic education subject teachers and class X students at SMA Negeri 1 Salang. This research method uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. Data analysis techniques were performed using data collection, data reduction, data display and conclusion/verification techniques. In data collection techniques using interview methods of observation and documentation. The results of the research show that the aspects that are being studied in this study are the implementation of a democratic attitude, the teacher's obstacles in fostering a democratic attitude and the efforts of Civics teachers in overcoming the obstacles they face. The conclusion is that the role of Civics teachers in fostering a democratic attitude is a psychological aspect which is important in the actions of students in everyday life. The democratic attitude possessed by students will give direction to their actions in interacting in their environment
