Abstract

A new alkaloid indobine has been isolated from the roots of Rauwolfia serpentina obtained from Thailand and its structure was determined as benzylester of indole propionic acid throughchemical and spectroscopic studies. © 1987, Walter de Gruyter. All rights reserved.
