Abstract

InTents, a journal on tent-rental industry of US, interviews four companies to share their accounts of struggle and success. Après Party and Tent rental, has purchased new inventory and has cut down prices to survive in the cutthroat competition of the industry. The company is known for its line of specialty linens which it designs and manufactures on site. De Boer, a Netherland-based rental and manufacturing giant, for the last one decade is involved in developing temporary structures for long-term applications. Along with developing schools, warehouses and exhibit places, the company has also developed a 20 feet high structure covering 10,000 square feet area, for which it was awarded Best Tent Installation Award. Similar achievements and experiences of Stamford Tent &Party Rental and Signature Special Events have also been shared in the magazine.
