Abstract

The rapid development of material civilization has led to profound breakthroughs in technological methods. With the advancement of Augmented reality (AR) technology and its deepening integration into consumer markets, smart packaging design is undergoing a paradigm shift from static information carriers to dynamic interactive media. This study investigates the application and optimization of AR interaction technology in smart packaging design, focusing on technical implementation pathways, user experience strategies, and commercial potential. Through case analyses and literature review, this study reveals the multidimensional mechanisms of Augmented reality packaging design at both macro-structural and micro-interaction levels, encompassing composite pathways of direct engagement and indirect influence. The research results show that the application of AR technology in smart packaging design has significantly enhanced the appeal of products, strengthened brand influence, and changed the traditional interaction mode.
