Integralidade das práticas em saúde na atenção primária: análise comparada entre Brasil e Portugal por meio de revisão de escopo

Abstract

RESUMO Desde o período de redemocratização e implementação de seus sistemas universais de saúde, Brasil e Portugal traçam trajetórias similares na construção de um modelo de Atenção Primária à Saúde (APS). Este estudo teve por objetivos identificar e comparar as características das práticas em saúde no âmbito da APS nos sistemas universais de saúde do Brasil e de Portugal que contribuam para a efetivação do princípio da integralidade. A metodologia aplicada foi da análise comparada, por meio de scooping review. Foi possível identificar as diferentes formas de investimentos e organização das ofertas de saúde, bem como elementos que podem favorecer a intercambialidade de experiências entre os países e o aperfeiçoamento do sistema de saúde brasileiro.ABSTRACT Since the period of redemocratization and implementation of their universal health systems, Brazil and Portugal have traced similar paths in the construction of a Primary Health Care (PHC) model. This study aims to identify and compare the characteristics of health practices within the scope of PHC in the universal health systems of Brazil and Portugal that contributes to the realization of the principle of integrality. The methodology used was that of comparative analysis, through scooping review. It was possible to identify the different forms of investment and organization of health offers, as well as elements that can favor the interchange of experiences between countries and the improvement of the Brazilian health system.
