Abstract

The study by Tu et al. in this issue details the surprising finding that not only is the CaR active intracellularly but also its intracellular localization includes both the ER, traditionally thought of as the main intracellular Ca2+ signaling store, and the Golgi, more recently shown to be important in keratinocyte signaling. © 2007 The Society for Investigative Dermatology.
