Abstract

Although chemically equivalent, some enantiomers are superior to their mirror image for certain applications. Thomas J. Edkins and Donald R. Bobbitt find that combinations of polarimetry, circular dichroism, and LC are replacing UV for detecting and isolating these active molecules.
