Abstract

This study explores the development and feasibility study of Smart MobilityX, a mobile application tailored to address transportation needs in Makati, Philippines, focusing on legally registered e-bikes and e-scooters. Smart MobilityX aims to integrate advanced technological features such as GPS and real-time tracking within the Internet of Things (IoT) framework to enhance urban transport efficiency, safety, and sustainability. Through rigorous research methods, including user surveys and system performance analysis, the study evaluates the practicality of Smart MobilityX app development by assessing economic aspects, technical considerations, and its potential impact on urban transportation. Specific objectives include developing a user-friendly mobile application, integrating IoT devices for real-time tracking, establishing rental stations and parking zones, and implementing online payment functionality. This research endeavors to contribute insights into optimizing urban transportation dynamics in Makati through innovative technological solutions.
