Abstract

The fragmentation of habitat caused by the action human being is comes one of the great challenges for the biology of the conservation. The construction of roads is a mechanism of the fragmentation of high impact, removing the original vegetablel covering, generating edge effect and modifying the function and structure of the landscape, in contrast with the necessity and the high economic value tax for the society human being. In this direction, this study it had as objective to evaluate the impact of the road in the community of wild fauna of the Park Altamiro de Moura Pacheco associated with the presence of the road (BR-153/GO-060). During one year of research, they had been registered 141 animals died for running over The results of the present study, lead of Agosto/2003 the Julho/2004, had been compared and analyzed with made study it enters the years of 1996 and 1997, as much the level of finded species how much the environment level. In accordance with the presented data, it is strengthened necessity to have one better planning when constructing roads, mainly next the preserved environments or units to conservation.
