Abstract

Structure and properties of AISI 321 steel samples obtained by additive electron-beam manufacturing are investigated. The formation of residual delta-ferrite in the samples was found. The structure of the materials obtained at different modes is determined. It is revealed that an electron beam parameters has a low influence on the grain and dendrite size of the additively manufactured steel samples. It was found that the selection of the 321 steel electron-beam 3D-printing process parameters is mainly necessary to obtain parts with defect-free structure.
