Abstract

This book has been written primarily for medical students in the clinical years of their course, and for doctors in clinical practice seeking guidance in the selection and interpretation of chemical investigateions. However, it should appeal also to clinical biochemists and chemical pathologists preparing for postgraduate professional qualifications and to medical laboratory scientific officers and technologists. Indeed, we believe the book has something to offer to all interested in the contributions of clinical chemistry to the detection, diagnosis and management of illness.
