Abstract

Describes the procedures and techniques used on Leg 87 and explains authorship responsibility for each section. The explanations of the shipboard scientific procedures include details of survey and drilling data collection; numbering of sites, holes, cores, sections and samples; core description forms for sediments and sedimentary rocks; biostratigraphy and basis for age determination; geochemical analyses; and, techniques for measuring physical properties. -E.Redpath
