Abstract
A short C - N distance [1.394 (2) Å] in the title compound, C11H10N3O4S+·NO3 -, is indicative of some conjugation of the sulfonamide π electrons with those of the pyridinium ring. The crystal structure is stabilized by N - H⋯O hydrogen bonds. © 2008.
