Abstract

In order to improve the performance processing technology of deep-well centrifugal pumps, a new-type space guide vane was designed based on space guide vanes and entry twisted guide vanes. The blade of the new-type vane was smoothly linked from circumferential part and twisted part, and the guide vane was cast by inward flanging technique to overcome the difficulty in molding production and realize standardized production. Taking a deep-well pump of 100QJ16 as research object, the L9(34) orthogonal experiment was performed. Based on CFD, the flow field of two-stage model pump was simulated, and four factors of geometrical parameters on head and efficiency were investigated. The optimum program was manufactured and tested. The head of the pump at rated flow point is 4.25 m with efficiency of 67.62%, which can meet the design requirement.
