Abstract

Twenty three patients who had bladder flap repair of extensive traumatic ureteral loss were evaluated during a 5 to 14 yr followup. Despite persistent vesicoureteral reflux infection was absent and renal function and architecture were stable. The value of the technique in the immediate restoration of upper tract continuity and the long term benefit are emphasized.
