Abstract
An efficient synthesis of 4- and 6-bromooxindoles, previously unknown compounds, from 6-and 4-amino-2-nitrotoluenes and the transformation of 6-bromooxindole to 3-acylated derivatives are described. © 1985, The Pharmaceutical Society of Japan. All rights reserved.
