Abstract

One of the proposed quantum eraser experiments is presented. This idea takes advantages of the quantum entanglement. Two atoms labeled by A and B are excited by a laser. A pair of entangled photon, photon 1 and photon 2, is then emitted from either atom A or B by atomic cascade decay. The experimental results are presented which well agree with standard quantum mechanical calculation using two-photon state of spontaneous parametric down conversion (SPDC).
