Abstract

Objectives: This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (intervention). The objectives are as follows:. Main objective: to assess the effects of computerised clinical decision support systems (CDSS) use on nurses' and allied health professionals’ performance and patient outcomes, by comparing those who use CDSS and those who do not use CDSS. Secondary objective: to assess the resource use associated with CDSS used by nurses and allied health professionals.
