Abstract

5-Amino-3-methylthio-1-(1,3,4-thiadiazol-2-yl) and 1-(1,3,4-thiadiazin-2-yl)pyrazole-4-carbonitriles have been prepared from 5-aminopyrazoles using ketene dithioacetals as starting materials.
