Abstract

Changes in digital storytelling are increasing the platforms for people in different professions such as business, family, healthcare, and research to communicate. Social movements through digital storytelling practices have increased over the past decade due to digital storytelling evolvement. Social activities through social media platforms have impacted freedom of communication, and continuous changes in digital storytelling will create more space for people to raise views. Other practices affected by the evolvement of digital storytelling include marketing, healthcare such as mental health of people, teaching, and research. Generally, digital storytelling changes over the past ten years have improved communication skills, enhanced interpersonal relationships, teamwork, and interprofessional collaboration globally.
