Abstract

AbstractThis research was conducted due to a significant decrease related to the limited mobility of interaction between counselees and counselors in the counseling process face-to-face in the midst of the pandemic (Covid-19) that is still engulfing Indonesia and the world. The purpose of this study is to develop a model of electronic counseling services through ECITE (Electronic Counseling In Telegram) and to test the effectiveness and feasibility of the media in helping its users as a solution to individual counseling situations in alleviating the problems they face. The type of research and development (RD) from (Borg Gall, 1983) was modified into five stages, namely (1) data collection, (2) initial application planning, (3) validation test, and initial revision, (4) limited field test and (5) limited field testing and final revision. The results of the study began with data processing to test the validity with the Product Moment Correlation formula with the results of rcount greater than rtable, then it was declared valid and the reliability test with Cronbach's alpha obtained the results of 0.935 0.700 and classified as high. Thus, the study showed that the pretest and posttest instruments were declared feasible. The counseling media trial got an average pretest of 89.7 and post-test of 108.65, this shows an increase in perception before using the media and after using the media when counseling, and is declared to have an effect (effective). Keywords : Adaptive Coping Strategy, Caregiver, Elderly People AbstrakPenelitian ini dilakukan dikarenakan adanya penurunan yang signifikan terkait terbatasnya mobilitas interaksi antara konseli dan konselor dalam  proses konseling secara langsung bertatap muka  di tengah pandemic (Covid-19) yang masih melanda Indonesia maupun dunia. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah  mengembangkan model layanan konseling elektronik  melalui ECITE (Electronic Counseling In Telegram), serta menguji tingkat efektivitas dan kelayakan media dalam membantu para penggunanya sebagai solusi situasi konseling individual dalam mengentaskan permasalahan yang dihadapinya. Jenis penelitian Research and Development (RD) dari (Borg Gall, 1983) yang dimodifikasi menjadi lima tahapan yaitu (1) pengumpulan data, (2) perencanaan aplikasi awal, (3) uji validasi dan revisi awal, (4) uji lapangan terbatas dan (5) uji lapangan terbatas dan revisi akhir. Hasil penelitian diawali dengan pengolahan data untuk  uji validitas dengan rumus Korelasi Product Moment dengan hasil rhitung lebih besar dari rtabel maka dinyatakan valid dan uji reliabilitas dengan alpha cronbach  memperoleh hasil 0,9350,700 dan berklasifikasi tinggi. Maka, penelitian menunjukan instrument pretest dan posttest dinyatakan layak. Uji coba media konseling mendapat rata-rata prettest sebesar 89,7 dan posttest sebesar 108,65 hal tersebut menunjukan adanya peningkatan persepsi sebelum menggunakan media dan sesudah menggunakan media saat berkonseling,dan dinyatakan memberi pengaruh (efektif). Kata Kunci : media layanan konseling, electronic counseling in telegram
