Abstract

The objective of this article is to question the conditions of research possibilities in the field of sport sociology. Its epistemologic aim is to solve in a reflexive way the social construction of sports sociologies. Differents topics are suggested in order to define the object of research, the thematic field, the theoritical corpus and methodologic research: the question of the subjects divisions and the spe- cialised knowledges; the role of the objectives determinations in the constitution of a knowledge; the inner complexity of corporal reality of the body and its dimension as a total social fact; research types in sports sociology and their specific intentions; the knowledge and the major epistemological stakes; the relation between the searcher and the object of his research and the intersubjective problematics. These levels of intelligibility show the necessities of all available explanations, of the multireferentia- lity and the epistemological complementarism in the sociologics of sports research. Otherwise, it would lower its heuristic capacity and relativitise its cognitive inputs.
