This paper raises the need to implement other strategies to allow the encounter with contemporary art in museum spaces to resignify Art Education in the training of teachers. For this reason, it starts from the potential of developing participatory and artistic proposals in the art centre, as a means to resize the experience, and as a possibility to modify, among the students of the Degrees of Early Childhood and Primary Education of the University of Malaga (Spain), their mindset about contemporary art, visits to museums and the experience of the educational space concerning group interaction. As a result, this approach helps the transition from an individualistic and strictly passive conception to an active and collective construction, based on performative experiences. The artistic-narrative research methodology allows access to the choral account of the experience and its analysis, evidencing its impact on the students and teachers involved. The results confirm the suitability of proposals that choose to generate other dynamics capable of endowing the students with autonomy from the work, capable of promoting another type of experience of the educational and museum space, and capable, also, of enabling the collective encounter from a position aesthetic, critical and active. This research is linked to the Research Project A connected classroom. The teaching portfolio as a narrative-artistic resource of research and learning, in the training of teachers of Primary Education (2019-2020), in the First Plan of Research and Transfer of the University of Malaga.
