Abstract
The CD73/ecto-5′-nucleotidase dephosphorylates extracellular adenosine monophosphate (AMP) into adenosine. In this issue of Blood, Tsukamoto and colleagues demonstrate that adenosine produced by CD73 regulates alloreactivity after allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation (AHCT).
