Abstract

We report the presence of a Pseudofusicoccum species associated with cankers showing gummosis in peach shoots for the first time. Identification was performed by sequence analysis of the concatenated ITS and EF1-α genes. The Pseudofusicoccum sp. was morphologically described and its pathogenicity was evaluated under laboratory conditions.
