Lombalgia

Abstract

Low back pain is a common mutifactorial disease. It may be related to acute ligamentons or muscular problems, wich tend to be self-limited, or to more chronic fibromuscular osteoarthritic or ankylosing spondylitic process of the lombo sacral area. The prevalence of low back pain tends to increase with age. Back pain be influenced by chronic poor-quality of deficient sleep, fatigue, physical desconditioning or psycho social problems and conflicts. These factors regularly alter the patients perception, behavior and reporting of structurally mediated pain as well as the resultant degree of dysfunction, disability and response to therapy. © Copyright Moreira Jr. Editora.
