Abstract

Sixty-seven species of exotic and indigenous trees, shrubs, and hedge plants were tested for susceptibility to infection by Phytophthora cinnamomi Rands. Of these 28 were not infected; 10 slightly infected; 11 moderately infected, and 18 severely infected by the fungus. Twenty-three species and cultivars not previously recorded as hosts of P. cinnamomi were found to be susceptible under the experimental conditions. © 1970 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
