Abstract

A greater understanding of the factors and pathways controlling angiogenesis in tumours has allowed the development of a number of agents that selectively inhibit the pathways mediating that activity. The results to date of clinical trials with such agents and future research opportunities are reviewed. Copyright © 2009 Multimed Inc.
