Abstract

Radio wave absorption data on 2775 kHz (A3 method, f{hook}eq = 1 MHz) are considered in relation to solar Lyman-α and X-ray fluxes and it is shown that Lyman-α radiation clearly dominates the absorption (L) under non-flare conditions. The optimum equations show the proportionality L ~ Fionizm with m = 1.1-1.5. The role of X-ray data correction is discussed. © 1982.
