Flora of the canga of the Serra dos Carajás, Pará, Brazil: Sematophyllaceae

Abstract

This is a taxonomic treatment for seven species of Sematophyllaceae recorded in the areas of canga in the Serra dos Carajás, Pará state, and includes descriptions, illustrations and morphologic comments on Brittonodoxa (1 sp.), Microcalpe (1 sp.), Trichosteleum (3 spp.), and Vitalia (2 spp.).
