Abstract
Thermolysis of acetophenone phenylhydrazone by reflux in air for 24 h gives ammonia, benzonitrile, acetophenone, biphenyl, aniline, o- and p-toluidines, together with 7-methyl-3-phenylindole, while that of benzophenone phenylhydrazone gives ammonia, benzophenone, N-benzhydrylideneaniline, biphenyl, aniline, benzonitrile, and 9-phenylacridine.
