Abstract
In this experiment, the effect of magnetic field on the denitrification efficiency of anammox reactor was studied to solve the problems such as slow start-up of anammox process and environmental sensitivity by adding magnetic particles (adding amount 0 20 60 100g/L) in the reactor. It was found that the addition of magnetic field could improve the activity of partial nitrification bacteria, accelerate the accumulation of nitrite and promote the anaerobic ammonia oxidation reaction, especially when the magnetic particle dosage was 60 g/L. The presence of magnetic field can enhance the activity of anaerobic ammonia oxidizing bacteria, increase the impact load resistance of anaerobic ammonia oxidizing system, improve denitrification efficiency and shorten hydraulic retention time.
