Abstract

This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (Intervention). The objectives are as follows: The objectives are to systematically review the effect of intravenous iron or no iron in combination with erythropoiesis-stimulating agents (ESAs) on the prevention or alleviation of anaemic cancer patients and to generate a clinically meaningful treatment ranking according to their safety and efficacy.
