Abstract
Two new host species of the genus Cygnus (Anseriformes: Anatidae) are assigned for Brephosceles discidicus, one of them native and the other exotic in Brazil. Aspects of the host-parasite relationship and geographic distributions are briefly discussed. © 2006 Instituto de Ciências Biológicas - UFMG.
