Abstract

Air‐ and moisture‐sensitive, yet thermally stable under an inert atmosphere, the diaryl germaneselone 2 is synthesized by deselenation of heterocycle 1. The aryl substituents shield the GeSe bond and thus hinder oligomerization of the monomer 2. (Figure Presented.) Copyright © 1994 by VCH Verlagsgesellschaft mbH, Germany
