Abstract

A non-invasive blood glucose monitoring system has been developed by integrating an Ion Sensitive FET (ISFET) based biosensor technology and a suction effusion fluid (SEF) collection technology. The system consists of an SEF measurement part, where the ISFET glucose sensor is mounted, and a main part which consists of a small vacuum pump, a liquid pump and a controller. A quasi-continuous measurement of blood glucose concentration was achieved by the system.
