The behaviour of global and partial loops (stress-strain-temperature) in SMA single crystals was investigated. Marquardt's based numeric algorithms were developed for the identification of relevant physical parameters (time independent). In addition, the time-dependent effects like static and dynamic recoverable creep, beta-recovery, quenching and of up-quenching effects were evaluated. The constructed model permits the computer simulation of the global and partial hysteresis cycles in the four dimensional sigma, epsilon, T and t coordinate space. The simulated curves are in excellent agreement with the experimental results.
