Abstract

Yersinia enterocolitica is new among the pathogenic bacteria. Although its pathogenic role in the human being has been established and many articles about it have been published by famous investigators, not much attention has been given it altogether. A review is presented of bacteriological and clinical aspects of the infective agent.
