SWOT analysis of current state and prospects for the development of artificial intelligence in |Kazakhstani media industry

Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI)-based technologies are beginning to play an increasing role in the economic development of countries, and many national governments are already developing strategic plans to introduce AI into all areas of society. However, to achieve the goal of becoming an AI-driven government, Kazakhstan must effectively prepare for the transformation by anticipating the various challenges associat ed with the introduction of AI-based technologies. The purpose of this article is to assess the potential for further adoption of AI technologies in Kazakhstan using methods such as SWOT and PEST analyses. The authors tried to conclude how favorable the conditions for technological development are from the political, economic, social, and technological points of view. For Kazakhstan to use the full potential of artificial intelligence technology and advanced analytics, a lot of joint efforts on the part of the state, private businesses and resid ents of the country will also be required. At the population level, we can talk about the formation of habits of using technology to facilitate everyday life, as well as the development of digital ways of working.
