Abstract
How can US forestry schools best prepare young professionals to work in a global environment? By giving undergraduates the opportunity to study abroad...encouraging professors to gain international experience...offering tropical dendrology and other courses with an international focus...all these approaches broaden the perspectives of American students, but among the best ways is to study alongside students from other countries.
